Cheryl Yiadom is the Owner and Principal Event Planner of Lotus Event Management LLC. She is a first generation Ghanaian-American who was born and raised in D.C. and is a true Washingtonian who loves anything D.C. In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Cheryl started Lotus Event Management because she believes that life should be celebrated on a grand scale and truly enjoys event planning & logistics, so she translated this gift into a career in Event Management. The company is called Lotus Event Management because it is derived from the Lotus, which is a beautiful flower that has the ability to rise from murky waters and blossom facing the sun. It is also the symbol of purity, happiness and enlightenment. The symbolism of the Lotus Flower is that no matter how difficult the circumstances, it blooms and radiates everything around it. We strive to do the same for our clients and curate events that that bring them absolute joy.
